Our Natural Protection
As was said during the mind model, the judgmental mind makes a “is there a reason not to” determination by evaluating (filtering) the intent of the outside input.
This is our natural protection.
If attempts are made to control us without our permission, or to have us do something that is against what we consider acceptable, the judgmental mind will stop the automatic acceptance of input and have the analytical mind focus on that input to determine the truth and reality of the intent.
While this can be circumvented with guile and purposeful planning, this natural protection is the reason that we will not do something that we would not normally do while we are in hypnotic trance.
